Welcome to iLEAD’s world-class learning environment.

Indian students are amongst the best in the world, forming the largest group of foreign students in top-notch institutions globally. However, the business education acquired at these foreign institutes by Indian students wanting to return home is often not very useful as the way of doing business in India is very different than how it is done in the US or Europe. Returning students often find themselves divorced from the market realities of Indian business environment, succumbing to frustration.

Another important fact is that the best faculty members in most of the world-class education institutions are also Indians (many of them are from our own city & state), and they are more than willing to contribute towards India’s aspiration to become a global education hub.

Technology and the Internet have shrunk the world, making it possible to create the ideal classroom experience at a fraction of the cost charged abroad. India, therefore, is at a juncture where it can build world-class education institutions not only to meet the demand of its own youth, but also that of the students from developed countries who cannot afford the high cost of education in their own country.

The Entertainment and Media Industry has out-performed the Indian economy and is one of the fastest growing sectors in the country with expected double digit growth in the next few years in all segments. Every second we are inundated with news, views, opinions, analyses, visuals, sounds – you name it – the 'media' envelopes us. The constantly changing landscape and dynamics of today's media scenario needs highly skilled professionals who are familiar not only creative and business practices but also with technology. They need to understand cross-platform dissemination of news and entertainment, combine creative thinking with factual analysis, and be aware of the almost daily innovations taking place globally.

At iLEAD, our goal is to create a vibrant and world-class learning environment where our students are exposed to best-in-class infrastructure, an inspiring & encouraging faculty and regular interaction with leaders from various creative fields. We are also equally focused on providing the much-needed work experience for students through a host of projects and collaborations with corporate, industry, leading media & production houses and practicing professionals.

We also emphasize hands-on-learning within the campus by getting work outsourced from corporate houses to be carried out by the students.

iLEAD is poised to provide the best learning experience not only to Indian students but also to their foreign counterparts in Kolkata – the nation’s former epicenter of world-class learning.
