Advertising, PR & event Management
One of the major global players,
India has found a permanent
seat in the Group of 20 leading economic and financially
powerful nations. Along with other achievements in various
fields, India’s Advertising, Entertainment and Media
industries are also growing at a fast pace.
However, compared to the global advertising expenditure (newspapers, magazines, television, radio, cinema, outdoor, internet) which is estimated at around USD 500 billion, Indian advertising outflow is abysmally low. Thus for India to reach the global average, the advertising spend has to multiply to a great extent.
While the PR & Event Management industry continues to evolve and grow, it is often said that the industry is still at the tip of the iceberg. Properties and brands are being developed around events, and the growing number of corporate awards, television and sporting events are boosting this industry. There exists a shortage of trained manpower and this shortage is expected to grow as the requirements of the industry are not met with in the coming years. iLEAD’s School of Media and Journalism has come up with a 6 months course on Advertising, PR & Event Management
